on site at lakefork looking for gods breath

this was my lake fork excursion or explosion. paint throwing can get a little wild. frustrating how i can tell myself don't do this... then immediately do the very thing i was trying to avoid. well, it's a new color pallet for me and all-in-all... i like it very much.

i could have messed with this for another hour to adjust the lights and darks. unfortunately, timeliness prevails.

second try, same as the first

not sure the finished result is much better than the first. spent a lot of time 'thinking' about each step. someday... thinking will be a little more fluid. i hope, i hope.

first day

just starting this blog today to keep track of the work im doing. have been itching to see my own work online. so here i am. scratch. scratch.

this first attempt was actually spazed out yesterday. it's a long time since i've painted. feeling simultaneously sick to my stomach and glad i'm making time for this. thinking it actually looks pretty nice online.
