eastern bluebird fatty

a christmas present for dad, this fat feathered eastern bluebird looks over his shoulder at the work i'm putting in on him. enjoyed drawing today. its sister drawing is already prepped and ready to go.

on site at lakefork looking for gods breath

this was my lake fork excursion or explosion. paint throwing can get a little wild. frustrating how i can tell myself don't do this... then immediately do the very thing i was trying to avoid. well, it's a new color pallet for me and all-in-all... i like it very much.

i could have messed with this for another hour to adjust the lights and darks. unfortunately, timeliness prevails.

second try, same as the first

not sure the finished result is much better than the first. spent a lot of time 'thinking' about each step. someday... thinking will be a little more fluid. i hope, i hope.
